Stephens is so soft! He is estimated to be about 6 months old and weighs 28 pounds right now, but he is sure to get bigger.

Meet Stephens, a super sweet puppy who is ready to become a cherished member of your family. With his gorgeous brindle coloring and a soft, gentle demeanor, Stephens will quite literally melt your heart, especially when you get one of his cute little tail wags. He loves to snuggle up with you and seeks more attention if you stop petting him! This lovely boy is very submissive though and only wants to please you. An adopter who can provide structure, leadership and confidence building is just what he needs. Stephens really looks to you for direction and reassurance. While he shows some interest in toys, he seems unsure if he's allowed to have them, how exciting that is all about to change with his new family. We are hoping whoever adopts him can maybe have a basket of toys for him to play with! Stephens is a gentle soul who will thrive in a nurturing environment where any children are at least 4 years old. He would love it if you came to meet him, he's waiting to find his forever family and give them all the love he has to offer.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Stephens would love to meet them. He has a soft, loose, full body wag approach with other dogs that moves into play.
