Cora has such beautiful markings on her face, she is darling! She is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 39 pounds, a perfect medium sized girl.

Meet Cora, there are truly no words for how sweet she is, she only wants to be close getting snuggles and pets. She has more of a shy, docile personality and is a little unsure about new things. Sadly, Cora came to the rescue heartworm positive, she went right into foster with one of our wonderful volunteers so she would have a loving, quiet home to go through her treatment. She has finished with flying colors and is ready to find her family.

Her foster mom has so many great things to say about her: Cora is absolutely wonderful. She is crate trained and just about house broken. I think the steroid she is on is delaying it a little bit. She is content just to lay near you. She is great on a leash for walks, although the outside world seems pretty new and scary still. At home she is zoomies, tail wags and naps. She does need a minute to warm up to new situations. She loves to talk to you. Cora gets along great with my 6 year old basset hound and has no issue with food or toys.

Cora would love it if you wanted to meet her, she can't wait for a family of her own to love. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with her more timid personality. We also want to keep Cora safe, so she will need a fenced in yard since we feel she may scare easily.
