This seven-month-old Boxer mix is the sweetest, most gentle soul you’ll ever meet. Toby was found as a stray and brought to us from the Bakersfield shelter, and he’s been showing his true colors ever since. He is loving, affectionate, and impossible not to adore (that underbite alone will steal your heart!).

Toby is a bit shy and timid at first, so he’s looking for a patient family who will let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels safe, he blossoms into an affectionate cuddle-bug who just wants to soak up your love and attention. He’s currently in a foster home working on potty training and basic commands, and he’s making great progress every day.

Toby will need a minor dental procedure, and once he’s healed up, he’ll be completely ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will reward your patience with a lifetime of snuggles, Toby might just be your perfect match!
