Meet Oden - a little puppy who is learning what it means to be safe.

At just 5 months old, Oden has already experienced something no puppy should ever have to go through. He was abandoned and left alone in an apartment for over a week.

But somehow, through all of that, Oden's gentle little heart is still full of love.

When Oden first meets you, he may need a little time to understand that you're safe. But once he does? He melts. He flops right down, rolls over for belly rubs, gives kisses, and lets you see the sweet, trusting puppy underneath it all.

Oden is the kind of puppy who makes you want to promise him that he'll never be alone like that again.
And he's not just sweet - he's an incredible little guy:
Very gentle
Understands "leave it"
Takes treats and food so gently
Wonderful with adults and kids
Great with other dogs
Can read the room and adapt - he can be calm and cuddly or silly, rowdy, and playful
LOVES to play
LOVES chewing on his bones
Loves going for walks (he hasn't quite figured out that "walk" is the magic word yet )
And once he trusts you, he absolutely loves being close and getting affection

Oden is only 5 months old, which means he has his whole life ahead of him. He deserves a home where he can finally learn that people come back. That a full belly is guaranteed. That a soft bed is his. That belly rubs are always available. That he is safe. That he is loved. That he belongs.

We're looking for a foster-to-adopt home willing to give this precious boy the patience, consistency, playtime, guidance, and unconditional love he deserves while he continues to grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be.
