At 1.5 years old and 43 pounds, this beautiful Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix is proof that a difficult past doesn't define your future. Despite everything she's been through, Bette wakes up every day with a joyful spirit, a happy smile and endless love to give. She's the kind of dog who chooses happiness, and it's impossible not to smile when you're around her.

Bette is a true people dog who lives for human affection. Head scratches, kind words and simply being close to her favorite people are all she needs to be happy. She loves everyone she meets and is wonderful with kids and other dogs, making friends wherever she goes. She absolutely loves running around outside, exploring new places and going for walks. Bette is exceptional on a leash, walking with the cutest happy little prance and often glancing back at you with the sweetest smile.

Bette has a fun, silly personality, too. When she's feeling a little dramatic or wants your attention, she'll throw her back end in the air while keeping her head flat on the ground, giving you the funniest expression that's guaranteed to make you laugh. Given the conditions Bette Davis originated from, upon rescue, she tested positive for Heartworm disease. Thanks to Home for Good Dog Rescue, Bette Davis has completed her Heartworm treatment.
