Boxer and Cattle Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in Kansas City, Kansas

Meet JO this SATURDAY, MAY 9 from 12-3PM at the NEBRASKA FURNITURE MART DOG & PUPPY ADOPTION EVENT! We’ll be joining other rescue groups for a HUGE adoption event. NFM is located in The Legends at 1601 Village West Pkwy, KCK 66111.

JO is an absolutely adorable little Boxer/Cattle Dog mix pup! She is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She’s curious about everything, loves little adventures, and is always ready to explore what’s going on around her. But once she’s had her fun, she’s happiest curled up beside you for a cozy nap and all the snuggles.

This sweet girl has the best balance of fun puppy energy and loving cuddle bug vibes — basically the total package. She is 8 weeks old and she currently weighs just 4.6 lbs.

She and her litter mates were abandoned at WYCO Lake. They're now ready for their new homes with families who will love and care for them forever.


ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. With their remarkable problem solving skills and unwavering loyalty, they excel in various canine activities and make excellent companions for active owners. Their distinctive blue or red coat, sturdy build, and alert expression reflect their heritage as versatile working dogs.
