DESCRIPTION
Hi! My name is Brandi and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my stray hold was up, I was placed on something bad called "the list". Lucky for me, a small rescue volunteer pulled me right before anything bad could happen to me and then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes! I appear to be a Boston terrier mix and the vet thinks I am only about 8 months old, so at about 24lbs the best guess as to my full grown weight may be around 30lbs. I was pretty scared when I first arrived at my foster home but everyone here is being so nice to me, I am starting to realize I am safe and finding I really enjoy getting some attention and treats. I have done well with all of the other dogs I have met and I have gone nose-to-nose with one of the cats here and we were both just interested in checking each other out. I have done well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding. I am still learning about that thing called a leash so I will need a fenced yard so I can take care of my business. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
