Hello! My name is Jasmine, I am 4 years old (dob 1/20/2022) and I weigh 30 pounds. I am looking for a new home because my previous owner could no longer care for me. I am being fostered in Lincoln, NE.

I am a little ray of sunshine! Every morning, I wait for everyone to wake and greet them with my charismatic smile and give them kisses.

When I am outside I enjoy chasing toys, but I don't always bring them back. I have played tug of war with another Boston on a thick rope. I also love to run at high speeds around in the back yard. When playing with toys with other dogs, I am courteous when the other dog growls to take the toy away, I let go and let them have it. When there is action outside, the other dogs run out to bark but I am not rushed to join them. I mostly just watch them do their thing.

While my foster parents works from home, I just lounge around and nap in a bed they have for me in their office. When it's break time, I come to life and we go outside together. My foster parents have different morning schedules, and when my foster Mom leaves, I do tend to whine for my foster Dad to come out and greet me.

I enjoy walks and although I keep up with my foster parents, when we do walk slower, I sometimes wrap my leash around their legs while I am exploring.

I enjoy the jerky treats I am offered. I enjoy doggie cheerios, dental treats, and dog bones.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
