My name is Chewy. I am 14 years old and weigh 20 pounds. I need a new home because my family could no longer care for me due to family medical. I am being fostered in Denver, CO.

Do you have room in your heart and home for one very classy senior lady?? If so I'm your girl. It's tough at my age to need a new family but I can adjust with a warm bed, some food and your love. I am a very happy sunny girl. I have a tilt to my head which sometimes throws me off balance but after a thorough check at the vet he says it's not an issue.

I love to play. I have a foster 2 year old Boston sibling and we have a great time chasing and chewing one another. Pick up my leash and I'm ready to go.

I love treats. I get along with everyone. I would rather not be picked up.

Additional Comments: Chewy is 14 according to the calendar but she doesn't look or act her age. She doesn't hear as good as she once did but she minds very well. She does excellent in her crate with no complaints.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
