Meet Vince!
Vince is a 20-month-old mystery mutt currently being marketed as an Akita. We have questions. Mainly: in what universe is an Akita 32 pounds? Because we are not buying it.
What Vince actually is: compact, well-mannered, and equipped with a set of giant bat ears that seem to be picking up transmissions from another zip code.
Vince is the best kind of young dog — not a crazy spaz. He’ll get his zoomies out, play chase in the yard, have a fun little burst of energy… and then it’s right back to what he does best: cuddles and naps. He’s playful, easygoing, and overall a really calm, sweet boy.
He’s dog friendly with both big and small dogs, but he doesn’t thrive in chaotic, large pack environments. He’d do best with a calm dog buddy (or two) that he can run around with and then settle down beside.
Vince is also incredibly people-friendly. At an event he was great with every type of human and would happily crawl into any lap that invited him. He’s affectionate, submissive, and just wants to be included.
Inside the home, Vince has great manners and has even learned how to use the doggy door like a pro. He’s the kind of dog who makes fostering look easy.
Vince’s ideal home would be a calm household with people who want a sweet companion, and ideally a dog-friendly sibling so he can burn off a little energy and then relax.
If you’re looking for a young dog who’s playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being needy, and basically just a polite little couch buddy with bat ears…Vince may just be your guy.
