Boots has already beaten the odds once, and now hes looking for the family hes always deserved.

This handsome young Shepherd/Collie mix was rescued from a crowded Texas shelter where he was at risk due to kennel space. Thankfully, Boots was given a second chance and is now safe in Peps Pals Rescues care, ready to start the next chapter of his life.

At just over a year old and around 50 pounds, Boots is the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, and eager to please. He loves people and isnt shy about showing itwhether hes leaning into your legs for pets, offering a play bow, or hopping up with soft paws to ask for attention. He already knows sit, appears to be house-trained, and takes treats gently.

Boots is a social butterfly with other dogs and has consistently excelled in playgroups, earning Rockstar status for his friendly, playful nature. He enjoys canine companions and would love a dog friend to romp around with.

He is a happy, loving boy who has endured uncertainty and change but still greets the world with a wagging tail and a hopeful spirit.
