Meet Duke! Duke is a handsome 10-month-old Bloodhound mix weighing about 55 pounds.

Duke hasn't had the easiest start to life. He came from a bad situation and spent weeks being shuffled around before finally making his way to us. After everything this young guy has been through, we think it's about time he gets the stability and family he deserves.

And despite all that change, Duke is an incredibly sweet boy! He loves people, soaks up attention, and is always happy to roll over for a good belly rub. He also enjoys other dogs and loves having canine friends to spend time with.

Duke is still a young dog and could use some structure, consistency, and direction, but he has all the makings of a wonderful companion. He's affectionate, social, eager for attention, and just needs someone willing to show him what is expected of him.

At only 10 months old, Duke has his whole life ahead of him. He's ready to stop being passed around and finally figure out what it feels like to belong somewhere.

Duke is located in Gainesville, TX, but we offer transportation services all over the U.S. Out-of-state adopters are welcome to schedule a FaceTime meet-and-greet with him before adoption.
