Thomas is sweet and funny boy who was found with his two sisters and two brothers and their mom in an abandoned building outside of Tupelo in Mississippi. At first the mom was protective of her littler but eventually allowed rescuers to take everyone in. The family came to Wags to get the love and care that they deserved.
At Wags Tommy and his siblings have thrived, they love to run and play with all the dogs at the rescue and then cuddle up together in a puppy pile to nap.
Tommy is just a darling puppy, he is a mischievous, friendly and happy boy who gives the best sloppy kisses. He is still in Mississippi, but ready to come up to the northeast on Saturday, May 8.
Like any puppy, Tommy needs a family willing to give him the attention and training he needs to grow up to be the very good boy we know he can be.
Tommy has had all of his vaccinations and has been neutered. He’s pretty much house trained at the Rescue, but will likely need a refresher as he adjusts to a new home

A little about Wags and adoption fees: The woman who runs Wags takes care of almost 200 dogs completely on her own, she finds stray dogs constantly and find it impossible to turn them away.
Adoption fees are the only source of funding for Wags and help pay for the vaccines, microchip spay/neuter and the transport from Mississippi for the lucky dogs who get posted for adoption and fine loving homes. What little is left after those expenses helps pay for food and vet care for all the other dogs and of course, the multitude of other expenses that come from running a rescue.
Almost all of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. Sometimes we’re able to bring up dogs into a foster home in the northeast, we always need foster homes!
