DESCRIPTION

Meet Lexi The Pocket-Sized Princess with the Biggest Heart!

At just 6 months old and 25 pounds, Lexi is proof that the best things really do come in small packages. We think this adorable little Lab/Staffy mix is the perfect take-her-anywhere size. Whether shes curled up in your lap, tucked beside you on the couch, or following you from room to room, Lexi simply wants to be wherever her favorite people are.

Its impossible not to smile when you see her. Between her oversized floppy ears, her tiny white socks, and her sleek black coat with the cutest little white markings, she looks like she walked straight out of a storybook. She has the sweetest puppy face, soulful eyes, and the kind of gentle expression that melts hearts instantly.

Lexi is a total lovebug. She hands out the gentlest little kisses, melts into your arms for cuddles, and genuinely believes everyone she meets is a new best friend. She adores people of all kinds and has never met a stranger. If youre looking for a dog who will happily soak up affection and return it tenfold, this little girl is your match.

When shes not snuggling, shes busy being a happy puppy. She loves running around the yard, proudly carrying her favorite toys, tossing them into the air, and entertaining herself before racing back for another cuddle break. She has a wonderful medium energy level thats easy to live with—play when its time to play, then settle in for a cozy nap.

Lexi is currently thriving in a foster home with six other dogs of all different sizes and ages, and she fits right into the family. The dogs she knows are her buddies. Meeting new dogs, however, can make her feel unsure. She may bark or ask for a little extra space at first, especially on leash, but with slow introductions and patient guidance, she settles in beautifully. Shes gaining confidence every day, and wed love to see that continue with a family who understands that shes simply a sensitive puppy learning that the world is a safe place.

Shes still getting the hang of leash walking, so a home with a fenced yard would be ideal while she continues building confidence. Once she feels comfortable, her playful, affectionate personality shines.

Lexi has spent time around a 10-year-old child and did wonderfully. We think shed make a fantastic family companion, and were happy to help arrange introductions with younger children if needed.

As for cats, Lexis first cat test was inconclusive. She was initially calm and respectful, but when the cat ran, her puppy instincts kicked in and she gave chase. Because of that, wed be happy to retest her for a potential adopter, but at this time wed recommend a home without cats or one with very dog-savvy cats and careful introductions.

Lexi is the kind of puppy who just wants someone to believe in her. Beneath those floppy ears and tiny white socks is a sweet, affectionate little girl with so much love to give. Shes already an angel in her foster home, and with a little patience as she continues to grow in confidence, shes going to make one very lucky family incredibly happy.
