Meet Lazarus

Lazarus is a Labrador/Shepherd mix with an estimated DOB of 5/2/26 who came to us from a hoarding situation.

He is suffering from mange, with significant hair loss and damaged skin. He’s currently receiving treatment, his condition is not contagious, and this boy is getting the care he needs.

And despite everything? Lazarus is **incredibly sweet.**

He can be shy at first, which is completely understandable considering where he came from. Give him a little patience and time to realize he’s safe, and that sweet personality starts to come through. He’s learning that people can be kind, hands can bring affection, and life can actually be pretty good.

We named him Lazarus because his story isn’t going to be about how he arrived. It’s going to be about watching him come back to life.

His hair will grow back. His skin will heal. His confidence will grow. And someday, these pictures will simply be the “before.”

Now Lazarus just needs a foster or forever family willing to be part of his after.

Adoption Fee: $295

We are located in Fosters, AL and provide transport! We transport to the Northeast - CT, PA, VT and anywhere along our route! $200 transport fee, if needed.
