Meet Sundai!

Sundai is a 4‐year‐old Black Labrador Retriever mix with a bright spirit and a whole lot of love to give. She currently weighs 74 pounds and is confidently perfecting her waistline as she embraces her healthy glow-up era with love, wiggles, and a deep appreciation for snacks.

And speaking of snacks... this girl is unbelievably food‐motivated. Training her is a breeze because she’ll happily show off her “sit,” “down,” and “paw” with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for game‐show contestants. If treats are involved, Sundai is all in. Something that makes Sundai truly special is her instant love for people. She has never met a stranger—only future friends. She’s friendly from the first hello, tail wagging like she’s been waiting for you all day.

Because Sundai lives life with gusto, she’s not suited for apartments or quiet communities. She’s more of a “let’s go, let’s play, let’s explore” kind of girl who would thrive with an active family and, ideally, a fenced‐in yard where she can stretch those legs and burn off her joyful energy. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh daily, keep you active, and shower you with affection, Sundai is ready to be your girl.

Sundai is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
