At 16 years old, Emilie spent her entire life with the same family. Sadly, at the end of this summer, her dad suffered a tragic accident and passed away just days later. Suddenly, after 16 years, everything Emilie had ever known changed.
She is understandably timid and scared, but she is sweet, quiet, good with dogs and good with kids. She’s also very food motivated whether she's scared or not, Emilie will absolutely let you know when dinner is late.
She came to us with a blanket from her home, and having that familiar piece of the life she knew seems to bring her some comfort.
Emilie has been loved and well cared for her entire life. Now she just needs someone to make sure her golden years are filled with that same love and comfort.
