Meet Oakley!

He is a 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog who weighs 66 lbs. Oakley is a gentle, affectionate boy who’s fully housetrained and trusted to sleep loose in his foster home. He’s been such a gentleman that his foster family doesn’t use a crate with him at all.

He enjoys playing with other dogs, going on long walks, tossing around toys, and soaking up all the cuddles he can get. Oakley hasn’t been exposed to kids yet, but he does jump lightly when excited and is very gentle overall, so his foster believes he would likely do well with children.

Oakley takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he becomes your loyal best friend and a “huge lover boy.” His foster parents say he absolutely adores curling up on the couch with you and might even try to sit on your lap. He’s a very special dog with a big heart and so much love to give.

If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion who blossoms beautifully with a little patience, Oakley is ready to be your new favorite couch buddy.

His minimum adoption fee is $ plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
