Meet Athena
This pocket sized klepto is ready to steal your heart (and anything not bolted to the floor) and make a great addition to your home. She is one of the Ridgland beagles but that has never kept her down. While in her foster home she has experienced many firsts. Camping, walks, this thing called a river, a crazy looking dog they call a pot bellied pig and she has loved it all.
While it may take an hour or so for her to start coming up to you for pets, sh is well worth any wait. Once she knows you she loves you and becomes your faithful sidekick ready for anything.
Fair warning she does like to steal everything and make a nest...socks, remotes, vegetable peeler...You name it she will take it. I am about 75% potty trained between pads and outside and am working really hard on it.
She does require either a dog or a cat friend in the home (if its a cat possibly younger as she really likes to play with them. She listens when the cat says no but for her happiness the playfuller the better) while she does not require a fenced in yard as she is long leash trained you will need to get used to having her attached to you for weeks while you both acclimate to each other and she learns to fully trust you.
She has been tested around kids 5+ and did wonderful (would most likely be fine with younger) and is good with dogs, cats, amd larger barnyard animals (no rabbits she will chase)
If you are looking for a new outside adventure buddy so is she!
