Nifty - Beagle Dog for Adoption in Pottstown, Pennsylvania

Nifty is one of the three little survivors who make up our “Cool Kids” crew.

Nifty, his brother Groovy, and their sister Peachy were found newly born along a rural road in Coolville, Ohio, near the home of one of our whelping fosters. The three were taken into care and have been lovingly raised as bottle babies by two of our very experienced whelping fosters, receiving round-the-clock care from the very beginning. Sadly, other puppies found with them did not survive despite every effort, making these three little survivors all the more special.

Nifty is the smallest of the trio, weighing in at under 5 pounds, and he's also the calmest. While his brother Groovy is the rowdier one, Nifty has a softer, more laid-back personality. His Beagle traits are really starting to shine through, and he's every bit as smart and lovable as his siblings.

There's something especially sweet about this little guy. Nifty has already overcome more in his short life than any puppy should have to, yet he's thriving, soaking up affection and becoming more confident and curious every day.

Now this tiny survivor is ready to find his people.

Nifty will arrive in Pennsylvania on September 2, with pickup in the Pottstown area.

We are accepting foster-to-adopt applications through August 26. With foster-to-adopt, Nifty can come home with you for a two-week trial period, giving everyone time to make sure the match is right before finalizing the adoption.

If Nifty has not been selected for foster-to-adopt by August 26, he will enter a traditional foster home and become available for adoption on or after September 16.
