Cat-friendly
You can call me "Honey" if you want, because I'm the one you want.
At just 2 years old, Honey is everything her name suggests: sweet, gentle, and easy to love. And once you meet her, you'll understand exactly why she's the one you want.
This adorable 20-pound Beagle is house-trained, crate-trained, knows commands like sit and come, and is quickly learning to walk on a leash. She's also one of those rare dogs who seems convinced that everyone is a potential friend. Dogs? Yes. Cats? Also yes. Kids? Absolutely. If Honey were filling out her own friendship application, she'd probably just write, "Come one, come all," and call it a day.
Her foster describes her as goofy, shy, low-key, and incredibly sweet. While she can be a little timid at first, Honey seems to understand exactly who the good humans are - and once she feels safe, she's all in.
Honey is looking for a gentle home where kindness comes naturally. Loud voices and chaos aren't really her style. Otherwise, life is pretty simple: playtime here and there, a car ride, a cozy spot on the couch, and her favorite people nearby.
She's so ready to hear someone say, "Honey, I'm home."
Trust us: she's the one you want.
Honey is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $225. Apply to meet her at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters.
