Cat-friendly
Trudy the Cutie has entered the chat And if you're a Schnauzer person, we probably already have your attention.
This sweet girl is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs 22 pounds. She has all the qualities that make people fall head over heels for Schnauzers in the first place: loyal, gentle, low-drama, and perfectly content simply being by your side.
These days, Trudy is focused on the important stuff: cozy dog beds, a few treats, and finding a family of her own. She's house-trained, crate-trained, walks well on a leash, sleeps quietly through the night, and will happily sit for a treat. She gets along well with other dogs and has done fine around cats, too. Toys? Not interested.
Trudy is a mature lady with mature interests.
Her foster describes her as sweet, loving, laid back, and friendly. We suspect she's got some world-class cuddler potential too, once she settles into her forever home.
One thing Trudy could really use is a little help getting back to her ideal weight. She's carrying around a few extra pounds right now, but with portion control and some leisurely walks, she'll be feeling her best in no time.
Other than that, Trudy doesn't need much. A soft place to nap. Someone to love. Maybe a sunny spot by the window. The simple things. If your idea of a perfect companion is calm, loyal, and always happy to see you, Trudy may have been waiting for you all along.
Trudy's adoption fee is $225 and includes her spay, vaccines, microchip, and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Apply to meet her at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters.
