Honey Bee - Beagle Dog for Adoption in Kent, Washington

Honey Bee is a sweet 5-year-old beagle girl who is ready to leave her stray days behind and find the forever family she deserves.

Honey Bee was discovered as a stray by a Good Samaritan and, thankfully, made her way into the care of one of our wonderful fosters in St. Louis. At just 22 pounds, she is a petite beagle with plenty of life and love ahead of her.

Her travels have clearly been tough. Poor Honey Bee arrived covered in fleas, but she is now getting the care she needs to put that chapter behind her. She has received a month of NexGard Plus, and her heartworm test came back negative.

Honey Bee will be spayed and vaccinated on September 2. Before making her journey to the Pacific Northwest, she will also be microchipped and receive a fecal test, so she'll be ready to start her next adventure as a healthy, happy girl.

We don't yet know Honey Bee's history or how she feels about everything a home life may bring. At this time, we do not have information about how she does with cats or children of any age, so those introductions will need to be approached thoughtfully.

She does appear to be comfortable around dogs her own size. She recently made a trip to the vet alongside another beagle, and the two did wonderfully together.

Honey Bee has already had quite the journey, and now we're hoping the next stop is her forever home. She deserves a safe place to land, a family who will give her patience as she settles in, and all the love she may have been missing.
