Abby - Beagle Dog for Adoption in Fremont, Ohio

Abby is a 5 year old Beagle weighing 24 pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Abby is a sweet & curious girl with a classic Beagle personality. She enjoys walks but will let her nose lead the way, she's a strong puller. Treat & food motivated. Knows commands sit & shake. Her favorites are sun bathing, car rides & squeaky toys. She's been allowed on the furniture and will get into the trash if given the opportunity. Housebroken, pee pad and crate trained. Good with children and strangers. Selective with cats, we guess she likes some and not others! Separation anxiety noted by previous owner and shelter staff-currently treating with Trazadone twice a day. Bloodwork & Dental cleaning performed at Westview Veterinary-clean bill of health, no teeth pulled. Good with baths but dramatic for nail trims.

Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00 (includes $1.00 service charge).

Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
