Brutus - Pomeranian and Siberian Husky Dog for Adoption in Fremont, Ohio

Brutus is a 5 year 7 month old Pomeranian/Siberian Husky weighing 30 pounds. He came to us as an owner surrender at no fault of his own. Brutus is a loveable guy who wants to be wherever his person is, he's basically superglue with four legs! Separation anxiety noted by owner and shelter staff-treated with Trazadone as needed. He struggles with being alone and that Husky voice rings out bright & loud, he won't do well in an apartment setting. When his person is near, he settles into a calm & happy boy. Knows commands sit, shake and laydown. Loves car rides. Loves walks and exploring. Treat motivated. Does well with baths and with groomer. His favorite activities include laying next to his person, standing on his person and making sure his person knows they're never alone. History of skin allergies, currently treating with medicated baths.

His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00 (includes $1.00 service charge).

Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
