DESCRIPTION
Shy is a 1 year old Boxer/Great Pyrenees mix weighing 53 pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender with her sister after an accidental pregnancy. Shy is a sweet and gentle girl with lots of love to give. She is looking for a home with lots of time, love and experience. She is timid with new people, places and life in general. Shy is curious yet unsure of strangers and needs help building trust and confidence. Once you've earned her trust you'll have a new shadow. We do believe she has separation anxiety. She has a curious and sweet personality. She loves her stuffed toys and often carries one with her like a security blanket. Treat motivated. Good with other dogs. Needs work with housebreaking and leash walking. Does well with baths.
Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00 (includes $1.00 service charge).
Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
