Meet Dallas - the Goodest Boy This Side of the Pecos!
Well, butter my biscuit and call me impressed... Dallas is one handsome cowboy.
At 1.6 years old and 54 pounds, Dallas is a laid-back, easygoing fella with a heart bigger than Texas and absolutely no interest in unnecessary drama. He arrived as an unclaimed stray, and while we don't know where his trail began, we sure know where we'd like it to end - on a comfy couch in a loving home of his very own.
Dallas is a people-loving, dog-loving gentleman who gets along beautifully with both big and small dogs. He's happy to mosey around with his canine buddies, make some new friends, and then settle in for some quality relaxation. He's a low-energy kind of cowboy who believes life's too short to be in a hurry. Why gallop when you can mosey?
With people, Dallas is just as sweet. He enjoys pets, cuddles, and soaking up attention from anyone willing to give it. He's gentle, calm, and the kind of boy who'd be perfectly content hanging beside you while you kick your boots off at the end of the day. No honky-tonk nonsense required.
He walks okay on a leash and is learning that sometimes you've gotta follow the trail instead of choosing your own. He's an all-around good boy with an easygoing personality that makes him pretty darn easy to fall in love with.
Dallas isn't asking for forty acres and a mule. He doesn't need a ranch, a pickup truck, or his own pair of Wranglers. He just wants a family, some dog friends, a soft place to land, and somebody who'll love him for the rest of his days.
They say all roads lead to Dallas, and we're hoping one very special road leads this Dallas straight home.
So if you've been looking for a calm, gentle companion who's country sweet with a little cowboy charm, saddle up and come meet him.

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us!
We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications!
We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
