Meet Zuko! A Professional Cuddle Buddy Looking for His Forever Home!
Zuko is an 8-year-old red tri Australian Shepherd, standard size at 50 pounds, who could stand to lose a few pounds. But what he really wants to lose is his rescue status and find a family to call his own!
Zuko and his friend Tootsie were returned to rescue because their family no longer had enough time for them. After four years in a home, it’s hard not to wonder why, but we’re determined to help Zuko find the forever family he deserves this time around.
This sweet boy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys heading outside to play in the yard. But his absolute favorite thing? Being close to his people! Pets, cuddles, and hanging out near your lap are definitely his love language.
Zuko took walking into rescue in stride, but now he’s ready to start thinking about his next chapter.
Zuko does not enjoy being left alone. He isn’t destructive, but he will bark for a while when left by himself, so we do not recommend apartment living for him. A home where someone is around more often would be ideal.
