Meet Trixie! This petite little Blue Merle beauty may be small in size, but she has a whole lot of love waiting to bloom.

Trixie is a shy, timid girl who sometimes needs to take a step back and watch the world before deciding it’s safe to join in. We can only wonder if being smaller than the other puppies might have made life a little harder for her when she was young. Whatever her past may hold, we know she deserves a future filled with patience, kindness, and love.

One of the sweetest things about Trixie is how much she loves other dogs! She wants to play and be part of the fun, but she’s more of a *“let me watch for a minute and see if you * “let me watch for a minute and see if you want me to join you” kind of girl. She isn’t usually the one to start the party or barrel into a wrestling match, but she enjoys a little roughhousing when another dog invites her to play!

Trixie would truly love a home with another friendly, playful dog. A canine companion would give her friendship and confidence while helping her feel more comfortable. She isn’t likely to be happy as an only dog and needs a furry friend to share her world with.

Trixie needs a family willing to let her blossom at her own pace. She may not run up to greet you on day one, but with patience, reassurance, and TLC, she can become a wonderful companion.

She’s looking for someone who understands that shy dogs need extra time—and that watching them come out of their shell is one of the most rewarding parts of loving a dog.

Trixie doesn’t need someone to rush her. She needs someone to believe in her.
