Amber - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption

Meet Amber, a beautiful red tri Australian Shepherd mix who is just under a year old and weighs 32 pounds. And we really cannot emphasize enough what a very, very good girl she is.

Amber is an incredibly sweet girl whose favorite place in the world is someone’s lap. When you get home, she’ll happily climb right up into your lap to welcome you back and make sure you know just how much she loves you. She absolutely adores being loved on, and whether it’s pets, hugs, cuddles, snuggles, or scratches, Amber is always happy to oblige. She would gladly spend all day being someone’s baby.

As much as we adore her affectionate side, Amber’s temperament might be the most impressive thing about her. She is incredibly calm, steady, and patient, especially for a dog who isn’t even a year old yet. She’s wonderful with other dogs and cats and has gotten along beautifully with every animal she’s met. She’s well socialized and seems to take just about everything in stride.

Amber is also a remarkably easy girl to have around. She’s quiet, walks nicely on a leash, rides great in the car, and does wonderfully in public settings. She’s fully house trained, crate trained, and non-destructive. She’s intelligent, well-mannered, and seems to have skipped right over a lot of the typical puppy shenanigans.

She’s even been a perfect little lady for her vet visits and grooming appointments!

Amber is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, on prevention, and up to date on all her vaccinations, including DAPP, Leptospirosis, Bordetella, and rabies.

We know we’re a little biased, but Amber really is one of those dogs who makes it difficult to find a single thing to complain about. She’s sweet as can be, has a wonderful head on her shoulders, and has so much love to give. Whoever gets to call this girl theirs is going to be awfully lucky.

Amber’s adoption fee is $500.
