DASH. You ARE A SURVIVOR!!!

Survivor with a Sweetheart’s Soul

1-year-old

MEET DASH! — A SMILE THAT DESERVES A FOREVER HOME!

1-1/2 year-old Purebred Black Tri Australian Shepherd
Adoption Fee: $595

Dash’s story started with a broken promise. He was found alone near a remote lake, in a dangerous area where no dog should have been left to fend for himself. We may never know why he was abandoned, but we do know one thing: Dash deserved better.

Thankfully, some wonderful people stepped in to help, and Dash made his way to Barkin Dogs Rescue. And guess what? This boy is smiling now!

As he settles into rescue, Dash is becoming more comfortable and letting his sweet personality shine. He can still be a little timid when meeting new people, especially men. Sometimes he gives you that funny little look, as if he’s trying to figure out, “Are you one of the good guys or one of the bad guys?”

Can you blame him for needing a little time to trust again?

Dash deserves someone who will be patient with him, earn his trust, and show him that there are good people in this world. In return, you’ll get the joy of watching a once-frightened boy grow into a confident, happy companion.

This handsome boy is ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter. He needs a family who will cherish him, keep him safe, and make him a promise that will last a lifetime.

Dash deserves a home, a family, and a forever. He deserves to be loved, protected, and NEVER dumped again.

Please share Dash’s story. His person is out there, and he’s ready to find them!

Dash’s story began with uncertainty and fear. Found alone near a remote lake, in an area where it wasn’t safe for a dog to be wandering, he waited and hoped someone would come for him. Thankfully, a group of caring people refused to give up on him, and Dash was safely trapped and brought to rescue.

Now this handsome Aussie boy is getting his second chance at the life every dog deserves — one filled with love, security, and a family who will never leave him behind.

Despite everything he’s been through, Dash has shown just how sweet he can be. Once he felt safe, he wanted nothing more than to lie at someone’s feet and soak up the affection. There’s a lot of love waiting to blossom in to the best boy.
His past may be a mystery, but his future can be wonderful. Could you be the one to show Dash what it means to be home for good?

Dash is ready for his next chapter — and we can’t wait to help him
