Now introducing Waylon - this southern gentleman is pleased to make your acquaintance! His namesake may be an outlaw, but this boy is as sweet as can be! This stunning pup is in search of a permanent address to call his very own. Waylon has been neutered, vetted, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. The last box for Waylon to check off is to find a family of his own. Please read on for his story, and for instructions on how to request an application for him!
Here is what we know about WAYLON:
- Waylon is @ 9.5 weeks old now, and weighs @ 10lbs. He will likely be on the medium to large size when full grown.
- Waylon and his brother Wyatt (adopted) are Aussie mixes who were rescued from animal control when they were young pups. We don't know much about Waylon's early start to life, but based on his temperament, physical characteristics, and disposition we know this boy is at least part Aussie and likely mixed in with lots of pixie dust to be as amazing as he is!
- Waylon is a happy, healthy, and rambunctious pup who will need a family up to the fun challenges of puppyhood! Waylon is extremely bright, active, and will be a dedicated pup to his owner.
- Waylon is very much still a puppy so he will need lots of training and reinforcements to learn proper doggy manners and behavior when he gets to his forever home. He is smart and eager to please, but his new family will need to have patience as he learns, and continue to reinforce boundaries as he has the personality to take over the place if you let him!
- Waylon is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health.
- Waylon currently lives happily in his foster home with other dogs and gets along just fine with them. We think he would do fine as an only dog, but he would love a playmate who could handle some puppy playtime!
- Waylon has not been cat tested, but would likely do fine with a dog savvy cat who could tolerate some puppy antics!
- Waylon would make a great family dog for kids 5+ who are old enough to understand doggy boundaries. He would love to grow up with human siblings who will provide him with lots of playtime and entertainment!
- We would love Waylon to go to a breed experienced home with a fenced in yard who will be able to dedicate the time and patience needed to give this special boy the foundation he deserves to thrive!
What we love about Waylon: Those ice blue eyes get us every time!
