Fireworks aren't the only exciting thing abut July.. check out all of our chiweenie cuties for some heart stopping adorableness! Scout is here to steal the show just in time for some summer fun! He has been vetted, neutered, microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. All that's left to do is find him the perfect permanent address! Please read on for his story, and for instructions on how to request an application for his! Please also be on the lookout for his siblings who are also available!
Here is what we know about SCOUT:
- Scout was born on 4.5.26 and is about 11 weeks old now. He weighs 5.5lbs.
- Scout and his siblings are chihuahuas and may have some doxie mixed in there too. They are absolutely adorable. They will definitely be under 20lbs full grown.
- Scout (and his siblings) were taken into rescue as very young pups. Since then, all have been thriving and receiving lots of TLC. They are ready to be adopted into forever families now.
- Scout and his siblings are very much still babies, so they will need a family up to the challenges and excitement of puppyhood who will help these cuties grow into the best dogs they can be. They are tiny but mighty, and we think they will do really well with proper enforcement on things like housebreaking, crate training, leash walking, etc.
- Scout is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health.
- Scout and his siblings share a foster home with other dogs and get along great with them. They would do just fine as the only dogs in their new homes, but also could live well with another friendly pup.
- Scout and his siblings haven't been directly exposed to cats, but we think with a proper introduction they would be just fine with them. Most cats will be larger than they are!
- Scout and his siblings are tiny, and small in stature as well. As a result, we think they would do best with older children 8+ who could safely manage them and are old enough to understand doggy boundaries. All of them are playful and well socialized and love to be held.
- Because Scout is so tiny, they is easy prey for lots of wildlife out there. They definitely can't be left unattended while outside, but would love to have some supervised playtime in a nice fenced in yard!
- We would love to see Scout go to a home with small dog and/or breed experience, but welcome all applicants.
What we love about Scout: He is a lot of dog in a small package!
Is Scout the one for you? If so, he's got his doggie bags packed and is ready to make his way home to you!
Scout's adoption fee is $650! That covers all of his vetting and care up until the point of adoption.
If interested, please reach out to Brittany at Brittany.pacne@gmail.com and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link!
