Meet Nova!

Nova is an approximately 2-year-old, 12-lb Mini Aussiedoodle rescue who defines the word "velcro"! If she had her way, she would happily ride around perched on your shoulder all day just to be as close to your face as possible, though with gentle guidance, she settles right in and is just as thrilled to snuggle in your lap.

Her superpowers include champion lap-warming, being wonderfully gentle with kids, cats, and other dogs, and being an effortless car co-pilot who curls up quietly on the seat for any ride. Nova rarely makes a peep-she hasn't barked at all, though she might give a soft little whimper if she's longing to be right beside her favorite human. When her people are busy, she happily cuddles up with her furry foster siblings for warmth and company.

She is still working on mealtime boundaries; coming from a puppy mill, Nova is a bit guarded around her food bowl and prefers not to have other animals nearby while eating, so she does best being fed separately where she can enjoy her dinner in peace.
Some of her favorite things are discovering the finer things in life-like the magic of a tasty treat-sinking into plush blankets, claiming the softest corner of the couch, and staying glued right to your side.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
