Meet Sugar!

Sugar is a 2-year-old, 35-lb Kelpie mix from South Carolina who is looking for her person!

She’s a sweet, affectionate little “shadow dog” who loves following her people around, curling up beside them, and simply being included. She’s housebroken, crate trained, good on leash, playful when you get her going, and also perfectly happy relaxing with you.

Sugar can live with other dogs, but she is cautious when first meeting them and needs a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe and gets to know them, she becomes much more comfortable. Her crate is her safe space, and she can be protective of it with other dogs, so that space needs to be respected.

Her foster mom says, “I honestly wish I could keep her.”

Sugar is ready for a family who will give her a little time to settle in and lots of love once she does.
