MEET BURRITO
5 1/2 months • Male • 29 lbs • Mixed Breed
Burrito is one of Mama Pepita’s eight babies! Their story began in South Carolina, where Pepita was surviving as a stray while doing her best to care for all eight of her puppies. Thankfully, our rescue partner stepped in and got the whole family to safety.
Burrito is full of life, personality and puppy energy. He’s ready for a family to continue his training, take him on adventures and give him all the love he deserves.
Mama Pepita is a Carolina Dog, possibly mixed with Corgi or Aussie. We expect Burrito to be a medium-sized adult around 50 lbs full grown.
Now it’s Burrito’s turn to find HOME!

ABOUT: CAROLINA DOG DOG BREED
The Carolina Dog, a primitive breed known for its wild ancestry, is a medium sized, agile, and intelligent dog originally found roaming freely in the Southeastern United States. With a distinctive appearance marked by erect ears, a bushy tail, and a sable coat, Carolina Dogs are highly adaptable, affectionate with their families, and wary of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs. Their natural hunting instincts and independence require consistent training and an active lifestyle to thrive in a loving home environment.
