THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN LOUISIANA AND WILL COME TO CANADA WITH AN ACCEPTED ADOPTION CONTRACT. PUPPIES UNDER THE AGE OF 8 MONTHS CANNOT COME TO CANADA WITHOUT AN APPROVED ADOPTER. You will not be able to meet your puppy ahead of pick up date - Rat Terrier Rescue Canada will attempt to provide you with as many pictures and videos as possible between a confirmed adoption and pick up.

Meet Connor!

Connor is a 2-month-old Blue Heeler (born in April 2026), who currently weighs 6.4 pounds. He's a happy, playful little guy with a personality that will keep you laughing every day.

Connor loves to play and would thrive in a home with another playful dog or a family ready to spend lots of time with him. He always has fun with his toys and has even decided that his water bowl can be part of the entertainment! He also enjoys spending time playing out on the porch and exploring the world around him.

He's doing well with potty training and already knows to use puppy pee pads. Connor sleeps well in his crate but would much rather snuggle up in bed with you if given the chance. He also enjoys car rides and is always happy to be wherever his people are.

Connor is an affectionate, fun-loving puppy looking for a family that will continue his training, keep him active, and give him all the love he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal companion with lots of personality, Connor is ready to meet you!

Puppies under 1 year - $775
Young adult 1 year - 5 years $650
Adults 6 years - 9 years $575
Seniors 10+ $325

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter .
*EXCLUDING UNALTERED PUPPIES UNDER A YEAR.

The adoption fee also includes, at a minimum, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, I.D. tag and microchip insertion. We gratefully accept any amount above the adoption fee as a donation used to support our mission to save as many dogs as possible.

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
