Meet Louis! He's a 2.5 year old, 65lb. male mixed breed ... maybe some black-mouth Cur mix in there.

You would never know the neglect Louis has experienced in his short life, by the way he greets the world with so much love and enthusiasm.

Louis absolutely loves everyone he meets, from humans to canines of all sizes, although smaller dogs and kids may get knocked down in play.

Louis was one of 36 dogs seized from a hoarding case and initially came into rescue extremely emaciated. Since then, Louis has gained weight through proper nourishment and embodies your regular goofy puppy spirit. Louis is just a one-of-a-kind soul, who sees the world as a beautiful adventure and desperately deserves a loving family he can call his own.

Louis may just be the perfect dog; he is super gentle and affectionate with great manners. Louis is housetrained, crate trained, and an angel in the car. Bath time is also a breeze with this guy!

Louis walks well on leash and stays close to his owners. Louis loves playing with his toys and can easily entertain himself. Louis also loves hanging around and playing with his canine foster siblings.

Louis is playful with other dogs, and he loves to sneak in kisses to them when they allow it. Louis loves his daily walks and adventures but is also happy to chill and nap inside the home. If you want to relax on the couch, Louis is more than happy to snuggle in next to you. At night, Louis sleeps on a dog bed or on his foster mom's bed.

Louis would love the stability and security of his own loving home. This boy has fearlessly endured so many changes. He is the most affectionate and loving dog, that wants to kiss and cuddle his new family. Louis would love another canine sibling in the home that he can play with if possible, as he absolutely loves other dogs.

Louis would also love an active owner who will continue with his daily walks/hikes and adventures. Louis is very gentle and would be great in a home with respectful dog savvy children. Louis would love a fenced in backyard where he can sunbathe or play fetch in the yard. Louis truly is a unicorn pup, as the sweetest and best boy, sure to make his new family very lucky.

The adoption fee also includes, at a minimum, vaccinations, de-worming, I.D. tag and microchip insertion. We gratefully accept any amount above the adoption fee as a donation used to support our mission to save as many dogs as possible.
