Meet Josie! Josie is a sweet 3 month old female Australian Cattle Dog mix puppy who was recently surrendered after her owner had more pets than they were able to properly care for. Josie is ready for a fresh start with a family committed to helping her grow through patient training, safe socialization, daily play, structure, routine veterinary care, and plenty of positive experiences. With consistency and guidance, Josie has every opportunity to become a confident and well adjusted family companion. Josie's adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, first round of puppy boosters to date, and first dewormer. Her spay is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and this date is non negotiable. An approved online application is required for meet and greets and adoption. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
