Meet Mummy! Mummy is a 9-week-old female short-haired kitten looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue building confidence. She is still shy and cautious, but with calm handling, routine, and gentle encouragement, she is making progress. Mummy will do best with an adopter who understands that trust and socialization can take time and who is willing to help her feel safe as she grows. Her spay surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, and this appointment is non-negotiable. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
