Meet Pelican! Pelican came to CCHS with his 3 siblings earlier this April from a local farm. This handsome Heeler mix is about 11 weeks old and weighs roughly 23.4lbs currently. Pelican is a confident little guy! He has very little fears, however whenever he comes across one, he knows to grab a trusted adult to face it first! While we aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you that he is 100% Bold Buffoon! The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
