Meet Penguin! Penguin came to CCHS with his 3 siblings earlier this April from a local farm. This dashing Heeler mix is about 11 weeks old and weighs roughly 20.7lbs currently. Penguin is a bit of an awkward loverboy! He doesn't exactly understand social skills, but he's more than willing to smile at you to help you forget how awkward things can get! While we aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% Flightless Bird! The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
