Mesa is a tender‑souled Australian Shepherd with a beautiful brown, white, and black tricolor coat and an even more beautiful heart. Mesa came to CCHS as a surrender due to too many animals in the home. She’s shy at first, taking her time to feel safe, but once she trusts you, she melts into affection and soaks up every bit of love offered. Mesa is looking for someone patient, gentle, and kind — someone who understands that the best bonds are the ones built slowly. The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
