DESCRIPTION

**NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!**

Meet Alicia, one of our adorable "Dresden Files" puppies! Born on 9/11/26, these pups have a 30-pound heeler mix mom and an unknown dad. We estimate they'll grow to around 40-45 pounds full grown. Alicia and her siblings will be ready to head to their adoptive homes after 11/19/26.

Alicia may be the smallest puppy in the litter, but she definitely makes up for it in personality! This little firecracker holds her own with her bigger brothers and sisters and loves a good play session. She was even the first puppy to figure out how to escape the playpen--and, according to her foster family, she still hasn't quite forgiven them for reinforcing it!

Curious, clever, and brave, Alicia is always ready to explore the world around her. She can occasionally be startled by new or unfamiliar things, but with a little reassurance, she quickly discovers there's nothing to fear. Once she decides something is safe, it's only a matter of time before she claims it as her newest chew toy!

Alicia is looking for a loving home that will embrace her spunky personality, help her build confidence as she grows, and keep her busy with plenty of toys, playtime, and puzzle games. She's a tiny troublemaker with a big personality, and she's sure to keep her family entertained!

A few important adoption details: CAWS pets are not adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the best match for each animal, and applications may take up to 48 hours to process.

Alicia will be microchipped, and CAWS will cover her first full year of puppy vaccinations as well as her spay surgery at around 6 months of age. Her adopter must agree to bring her to the vet for her remaining vaccinations and spay surgery. Her adoption fee is $300.

Ready to welcome this clever little escape artist into your family? Apply to adopt Alicia at http://caws.org/adoption-application. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application
