Meet Bella! ❤️

Bella is a 18-week-old Australian Shepherd/working breed mix who currently weighs 25 lbs. She'll likely be a medium-sized dog, around 35-40 lbs when full grown, though that's just an estimate. She's a sweet, energetic puppy who loves everyone she meets and is always ready for pets, playtime, and cuddles. Just be prepared for a little kitchen helper who may try to put her paws on the counters!

Bella would love a home with another playful dog or a family ready to keep her busy with plenty of activities, exercise, and mental stimulation. She enjoys playing with dogs her size but can feel intimidated by bigger dogs. A fenced yard would be ideal, though apartment life could work with consistent leash training and enough exercise.

She's still building her confidence and learning the ropes of being a dog. When something feels new or scary, she likes to tuck herself between your legs for reassurance. She's learning to walk on a leash and becoming more independent as she gains confidence. With patience, positive reinforcement, and continued training, she has the potential to become a wonderful adventure buddy!

Like any puppy, Bella is still working on her manners. She's nearly through the teething stage and needs guidance toward appropriate chew toys instead of people. She enjoys both soft and hard things to chew, and she's recently discovered how fun balls can be! She's even learning to bring them back.

The good news? Bella is picking up house training quickly and is already about 98% there! She may still have an occasional accident if left unsupervised too long, so she'll need frequent potty breaks and supervision as she continues learning. She does well in her crate when you leave the house and will sleep in it through the night, letting you know if she needs to go outside. Of course, she'd much rather snuggle up with you, even if that means sleeping right on top of you at first!

Bella is a bit of a Velcro puppy who loves being close to her people, but she's also learning to explore the world on her own. She has the perfect combination of playful energy and serious snuggle-bug potential. Her experience with children is unknown.

Bella is looking for someone who will help her grow into the confident, well-mannered dog she's meant to be. With love, training, and a little patience, this sweet girl could become your favorite hiking buddy, playmate, and couch companion. She's ready to love hard, play hard, and find her very own soul person! ❤️
