Courtney is a beautiful, sweet little girl who has come such a long way in building her confidence! Although she's still quite skittish around unfamiliar people, underneath that shy exterior is an affectionate, playful kitty who just wants to feel safe, loved, and have a best friend to share her adventures with.

Courtney absolutely loves other kitties, especially her fellow girls! She enjoys playing, spending time with her feline friends, and having a buddy by her side. Once she learns to trust you, her sweet personality really begins to shine, and she'll happily enjoy cuddles and affection.

Courtney prefers to build trust at her own pace. She's not particularly fond of being picked up, especially before she knows you well, and prefers to be the one to approach when she's ready for affection. Once she feels comfortable, though, she has so much love to give!

Moving into a new home will likely be intimidating for Courtney at first. She'll need a patient, understanding family willing to give her the time and space to settle in and show off her wonderful personality.

Courtney must have a feline companion to help her feel secure and continue building her confidence. A friendly, confident resident cat would be a wonderful match, or she could be adopted alongside another compatible kitty. She especially enjoys the company of other female cats!

Courtney is selective about dogs but can do well with calm, respectful dogs after a proper introduction. Because of her shy nature, If there are children in her home they should be 12 or older.
