James Watson - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler and Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Hilton, New York

Puppies are naturally curious but not all puppies are scientists. James Watson, a just about 3 month old pit bull/heeler mix, is currently researching some very important questions that he hopes will lead him to the perfect furever home.

So far, Watson has learned a lot in his research. He’s learned that one puppy can contain nearly infinite amounts of love, fun, and puppy silliness. His foster family can corroborate these results and are happy to do so.

Watson is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He’s happiest with people. Whether playing, exploring the world or snuggling up this boy loves to be around his people. He also enjoys playing with and learning from other dogs.

In addition to conducting his research and playing, Watson has also been hard at work on his potty training and on getting used to spending time in his crate. As an added bonus Watson finds all this learning, science, and fun exhausting and sleeps straight through the night!

Even though Watson is a very smart little scientist he is still a puppy. He will need a family that understands that he’s still learning how to be a good canine citizen scientist and that sometimes experiments (and puppies) get messy. But he’s sweet-natured, playful, and eager to learn. He’s going to make an excellent companion for someone (or more than one person) who wants to learn alongside him.

James Watson's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.
