DESCRIPTION

Meet Hercules!

If you've been searching for that once-in-a-lifetime dog who can be your adventure buddy, your cuddle buddy, your smartest student, and your most loyal best friend all wrapped into one adorable little package, wed like to introduce you to Hercules.

Hercules is about 2 years old, and we believe he may be an Australian Cattle Dog/terrier mix. Unlike what his mighty name might suggest, Hercules is actually the perfect compact size, tiny enough to fit comfortably in your lap but sturdy enough to keep up with all of lifes adventures. Hes basically travel-sized perfection.

This sweet boy is the total package. Hes incredibly loving, wonderfully social, and has never met a person he didn't want to be friends with. Hercules absolutely adores his people and forms strong bonds with those he loves. One of his cutest habits is gently pawing at you when you stop petting him, as if to politely remind you that your hand clearly belongs back on his head. Hell even offer his paw on command because, yes, hes a very smart boy.

Speaking of smart, Hercules already knows sit, walks beautifully on leash, and has all the makings of a dog who genuinely enjoys learning. Hes attentive, eager to connect with his people, and carries himself with the quiet confidence of a dog who understands the assignment.

When it comes to other dogs, Hercules is a superstar. He loves his foster siblings and spends his days rolling around, wrestling, and playing goofy belly-up games with them. Watching him play is guaranteed to make you smile. He has wonderful social skills and gets along beautifully with other dogs, making him a fantastic candidate for a multi-dog home.

But while Hercules loves his dog friends, hes not a wild maniac. He has that perfect balance of playful and easygoing. One minute hes having fun with the pack, and the next hes happily trotting alongside his favorite human or relaxing nearby while you go about your day.

We would describe him as confident, friendly, and incredibly tolerant. Hes comfortable around people, greets dogs appropriately, handles new situations well, and seems happiest when he has both canine companions and a person to call his own.

As for cats, wed currently recommend a cat-free home. While he wasnt aggressive, his cat test left us wanting more information, and wed rather err on the side of caution until further testing can be completed.

Hercules would likely thrive in a home with another friendly dog, a yard to explore, and people who appreciate a dog that wants to be involved in everyday life. He isnt looking to be the center of attention every second of the day, he simply wants to be your loyal sidekick as you tackle lifes adventures together.

At the end of the day, Hercules is one of those dogs that just feels easy. Easy to love. Easy to be around. Easy to imagine fitting right into your family.

If youre looking for a loyal little shadow with a huge heart, a playful spirit, and the cutest paw-tap reminder that petting time isnt over yet, Hercules may just be your perfect match.
