DESCRIPTION
Our handsome Hank is a sweet, gentle boy who is learning how to be a dog in a home for the very first time. After spending his first 10 months as a feral pup in Tennessee and then another 6 months in a shelter (where volunteers helped him come out of his shell), everything about domestic life was new to him — but he's making amazing progress.
Though still a little skittish at times, Hank is brave, affectionate, and eager to trust. He loves his crate, chooses to "go" outdoors, comes when called and enjoys quiet affection from people he feels safe with. His ideal home would have another confident dog to continue guiding him, or a single/couple looking for a devoted, happy companion.
Hank will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Watching him discover comfort, safety, and love has been incredibly rewarding, and he deserves a home that will continue cheering him on.
