Hi there! My name is Auggie and I'm an Anatolian Shepherd puppy ready to discover the world with my new family!

My three sisters and I followed a chicken farmer's dog all the way to his ranch one day. Nobody knows where we came from, but I've been around cows, horses and even 10,000 chickens without incident! When I arrived, I was covered in ticks and fleas and was a pretty scared little guy. But things are looking up and I'm beginning to discover that life can be pretty wonderful when someone cares about you.

I'm still a little shy as I figure things out, but I'm a very SWEET, SMART, LOVING boy who is starting to come out of my shell. One of my favorite things is getting gentle rubs and affection from my people! I'm learning that human hands can be kind and loving and I'm discovering just how nice it feels to be cared for. I'm a pretty QUIET boy when I'm with my human and bark only if I'm in my outdoor kennel and they are outside.

I'm figuring out what it's like to live inside a home, walk on a leash and enjoy all those little things that make a dog feel safe and loved. I'm still a puppy so I definitely have some puppy stuff going on! I'm working on my house and crate training and Ive even figured out how to use a puppy pad--that was actually for the seniors that live in my fosters home. I'll need a family who understands that I'm still learning and will give me the patience and encouragement I need to succeed.

One thing you'll quickly discover about me is that I LOVE TOYS and wander around the house looking for my next treasure and I could happily entertain myself exploring all the fun things my foster home as to offer. Being loved is a pretty amazing feeling.

I'm a LAID-BACK kind of guy. I'm not bouncing off the walls all day long. I LOVE WATER and would make a great camping, hiking or any type of adventure buddy.
I LOVE KIDS and other DOGS and would enjoy having a canine playmate in my new home, but it's not required to adopt me. I have so much potential ahead of me and with guidance from my new family, love and affection I will grow to be your LOYAL best fan!
